Spare wheel / tyre

Hello

In my recent post (twelve months of Taigo ownership) there was one issue which was not mentioned – but is the cause of some concern

My car came without a spare wheel / tyre (yes, I am aware that the spare wheel / tyre are regarded as an ‘extra.)

I am also aware that there is an emergency repair kit (consisting of an air pump and some liquid chewing gum resident in the boot.

So, has any forum member purchased an after-market wheel /tyre - or had any dealing with the following company:

Hi Jeff...My R line came with a space saver wheel kit...I would suggest you go to a decent VW Dealer...as you will need a jack with all the tools as well as a wheel..I believe the they supply at around the same price as your advert....Welcome by the way from the tropical Isle of Wight...Eddie

Mine came with a very skinny T125 x 70 x R18 spare
Had I retained the spare 205 x 55 x R16 from the T Cross that I traded in I doubt it would have fitted in the storage space properly..
I see your link shows their spare would.
