So funny story guys I just found a pond where the spare wheel should be...

I removed around 5 litres of what seems to be rain water.
Currently waiting for the shop to schedule me in for a check.
Never seen something like this before..
The top layer is completely dry so seems to have come from tail light maybe? Possibly over several weeks until I noticed
It's probably a freak issue / bad luck but maybe check your spare wheel!

Wow that's poor....mines garaged most of the time...but bone dry...as you say might be rear light seal...but you should have evidence of this....back to the Stealers I fear....mind you.... you could fold down the rear seats...lay down inside and get someone to put a hose blasting all round the gaps to see if anything shows up...a torch would be handy...Good luck with it...let us know the outcome...Eddie
Car is back from the garage. They fitted a new rear window an resealed it under warranty.
Apparently factory had forgotten to apply enough sealant to the original window so it was never fully water tight and then just filled up over time until I noticed.
