Hi guys - just registered I should help with the tailgate issue, there are adjustable screws either side of the boot at the bottom. Open the boot lid and reduce the extent that the two screws poke out - generally make them shorter. Takes a few minutes and makes sure the tailgate closes easily.
It takes time to like the Taigo - purchased new - moved from 20 yo Honda and Land Rover Defender - bought at main dealership and had no idea about the so called automatic safety features. Especially lane assist and drive assist they freaked me out on my first motorway journey. I inadvertently activated drive assist - the car braked suddenly at a junction when another vehicle overtook me on the inside from the on lane and a second vehicle cut me up from the right. I was fully aware and didn't need to brake but the safety systems thought otherwise. Fortunately no vehicles close behind otherwise high probability of a nasty rear end shunt.
