Navigation system

Hi All, I am a new member living in the UK, I have a new Taigo 1.5 R-Line, when I picked the car up from the dealership, I am 99.9 % sure that I was able to display my navigation system map simultaneously on the infotainment system and in the instrument cluster. I have now lost this feature. I now have a map in the infotainment system and a direction arrow in the instrument cluster or visa visa. The handbook states I can have a simultaneous display, page 205, but doesn’t tell me how. The dealership doesn’t seem able to help.

Any help in restoring this feature would be greatly appreciated, Cheers.

I cannot get the actual map to display on both screens, but when in use the other screen becomes the ‘turn by turn’ route guidance.
So it will tell you your next change both in decreasing distance and a diagram.

I always have the map in the info screen on even if no destination is set, so I can be aware of local live traffic hold ups. (best to zoom out if not using the full view screen).

Thanks for your reply, yet the handbook says you can display both. There is actually a series of photos on here, displaying the two screens with maps.

With time on my hands, I gave it another go but still had no luck.
There is reference to it on page 20 of the handbook, which seems to imply it’s only on the Discovery Pro rather than our Discovery Media.

I assume you know you can change the main screen when showing the arrow (compass), over to displaying recent destinations - bring your hand near to the screen and the icon pops up.

As mentioned, I’m happy with having the choice, given the other screen gives the turn by turn instructions well in advance.

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I can confirm that this is only possible with the Discover Pro. At least that's what my research showed when deciding which one to pick.

I heard it's due to discover Pro having better CPU which can cope with doing both (also in different zoom levels) though not sure about that explanation.
