Re: parowane wewnątrz tylnego pasa lamp

Well our Polish buddy it's not normal - had lots of heavy storms in UK recently with no misting - seals are probably buggered.

Re: Software update

Yes, software update is weird I couldn't work out when the update was taking place, it did not seem the occur when parked with ignition turned on, but seemed to be updating whilst not moving in traffic - it took three days to update before I got an update completed message. More wobbly German softwa...

Re: Metallic noise from transmission

No problems on my 1 litre 110 hp. Could be loose baffles in the exhaust box. There are so very few Taigos on UK roads it's hard to compare with other users. I did meet another one in my local Aldi we had a long chat - first one I'd seen in 6 months of ownership - the rectangular hole in the tailgate...

Re: We Connect

Well does it still work with the new Volkswagen app I wonder? I've given up with the Taigo navigation system - I've been directed to too many random fields when I've tried it. There's a simple solution stick a mobile with Google maps on the dash - no more useless navigation. BTW the mobile shows mor...

Re: Andoid Auto issues and compass not available

I've essentially lost faith in the massively bug ridden info software in my Taigo, I've spent hours trying to get rid of constant nagging messages on the info screen about datasets, driving profiles, navigation and other unimportant prompts for me to enter codes of various types that make no sense t...

Re: Front light bar

Bought a maindealer specced Style 110 hp - just sitting in the showroom for a day - I wrangled a hefty discount of £3200 off of list including extras - dealer had inadvertently mis-sold me a T - Cross with an up specced engine - I'd paid a 500 squid deposit for the wrong engine so had plenty of leve...

Re: Hello everybody

Hi - the menu setup on the Taigo doesn't seem to work the same every time I use it. I don't use the touch screen anymore - other than for the radio. If I was you I would go to a VW main dealership - to get it checked and maybe it needs a software update.

Cheers Pete

VW Connect now VW App some issues

The original VW Connect software has a new shell called Volkswagen app. It has similar functionality as VW Connect but the mapping feature is far superior. It's possible to zoom in on the map precisely to road names and will also link across to Maps online. Just download and go through the setup - i...

Re: Boot size

I have stowed a wheelchair in the boot - plenty of space. If a problem you could try lowering the removable bottom panel to its low level slot. This provides about 3 inches extra boot height.

Re: My minor complaints

Hi guys - just registered I should help with the tailgate issue, there are adjustable screws either side of the boot at the bottom. Open the boot lid and reduce the extent that the two screws poke out - generally make them shorter. Takes a few minutes and makes sure the tailgate closes easily. It ta...
